The Fete and many other events during the year are organised by the Dunchurch Festival Group (DFG) and surpluses are donated to good causes in the village.

Booking a Stall Or Pitch:

1) Commercial Operators (e.g. children's rides, attractions, food and beverage outlets).

  • Fee : By negotiation, and often includes a percentage of profits.

2) Trade Stalls (i.e. pitches of around 6 to 10 feet, typically selling sweets, a variety of gifts, handicrafts etc.)

  • Fee : £25 paid in advance, not normally refundable; £30 if paid on the day.

3) Local and Charities / Not-for-profit stalls. Pitches of around 6 to ten feet.

  • Fee : £15 if paid in advance, not normally refundable; £18 if paid on the day.

4) Local and Charities / Not-for-profit stalls. Non-commercial / Raising awareness.

  • Fee : These will normally be free.

5) Village Stalls. Operated by the Festival group and whose profits are remitted to the DFG.

  • Fee : Not applicable.

Tables: We have a small number of tables available for hire by non-DFG organisations at a cost of £5 (returnable £20 deposit) on a first come, first serve basis.

Payment Details

Cheques should be made payable to the Dunchurch Festival Group and postal details will be arranged by email.

Risk Assessment

Dunchurch Festival Group are in the process of completing the 2017 Risk Assessment.

Please study these documents and consider the following questions in relation to your stall and activities at the Fete:

1) Are there any hazards?

2) Who could be affected?

3) What action is to be taken?

If you identify additional hazards above and beyond those included in our own assessment, please complete your own risk assessment and bring it with you on the day.

Seeking Performers

On Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd of September the Dunchurch Festival Group are staging a Variety Show at the Village Hall.

We hope to showcase local talent and Mike Judge, who is organising the event, wants to hear from anyone who might be interested in taking part.

Tables & Chairs For Hire

The Dunchurch Festival Group have available for hire 100 folding chairs and 25 folding tables suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

A returnable bond of £50 for the chairs and £100 for the tables is required in addition to the hiring fee of 50p per chair, £2 per table.

Collection & return delivery are the hirer's responsibility.
